Curtain track
Curtain tracks are generally hidden rods, that is, the track cannot be seen, and it is smoother to pull, which is easier to pull than rods. The exposed curtain track does not look good, so a suspended ceiling is required to leave a curtain box, and there is no limit on the length. There are two forms of curtain boxes: one is that the room has a suspended ceiling, and the curtain box should be hidden in the suspended ceiling, and it should be completed together when the top ceiling is made; the other is that the room has no suspended ceiling, and the curtain box is fixed on the wall and becomes a whole with the window frame.

1. Curtain track with box
➤ If the home soft furnishing is equipped with a curtain box, you can choose a common type and moderately priced curtain track, because the curtain box does not affect the appearance, and it has high durability and is easy to pull when used;
➤ If the selected curtain material is thicker (such as: cotton and linen curtains, double-layer craft curtains), you need to choose a track with better load-bearing capacity (such as: large window curtains on European curtains, you can add male and female buckles or curtain tracks when making them).2. 2.Boxless curtain track
➤ It is a curtain track exposed to the outside. It is recommended to buy Roman rods or iron rods. The appearance is gorgeous, and the materials are mostly wood and metal. The price is higher than ordinary curtain tracks, and the smoothness is not very good. If the curtains at home are thick, it is recommended not to buy it, which is easy to cause the curtain rod to bend;
➤ It is very suitable for European-style home soft decoration, which is conducive to highlighting the overall matching. It can be chosen if the curtains are not very thick.
Precautions for purchasing home curtain tracks: Whether it is boxed or not, both practicality and aesthetics must be taken into consideration when purchasing. The material of the curtains must be coordinated with the style and overall effect, and the load-bearing capacity of the curtain track must also be considered.

Installation preparation
The installation methods of visible rods and concealed rods are not much different, basically they follow the process of assembly, positioning, and fixing.
1. How to hang curtains
➤ Curtain rods are divided into those with hanging rings and those without hanging rings. Curtain rods with hanging rings are used to directly hang curtains processed by cloth tapes. Just install the finished curtains on four-legged hooks and hang them up;
➤ Curtain rods without hanging rings are mainly used to hang curtains processed by punching or rod-through processing. Curtain rods with hanging rings need to be assembled before installation.
2. Determine the installation width and height of the curtain rod
➤ Before installing the curtain rod, first determine its installation position, that is, the installation height and width. The width of the curtain rod can be determined by the width of the window, which is 20~30cm more than the width of the window on both sides;
➤ The installation height of the curtain rod is divided into visible rods and concealed rods. The installation height of the visible rod is in the middle position from the ceiling to the top of the window frame, and the concealed rod is installed at the top or side of the curtain box at any part of the curtain box.
3. Positioning and drilling
➤ Considering the firmness of the fixation, to avoid the spacing of the fixings being too large to withstand the tension, it is necessary to calculate the fixing hole spacing first. Generally, the spacing of the fixings is not more than 50cm, and then draw lines to locate;
➤ After determining the installation and fixing position, you need to drill holes and fill in expansion screws. If it is a wooden base, there is no need to drill holes, and you can directly fix it with self-tapping screws.
4. Installing curtain rods
➤ For Roman rods, after positioning and drilling holes, you can first fix the mounting frame, and then place the rod on the mounting frame;
➤ If it is a curtain rail, directly fix the assembled curtain rail to the wall or ceiling with side or top brackets.

Precautions for curtain rod installation
Although the installation of curtain rods is a trivial matter, perfect home decoration is formed by doing countless such trivial things. To ensure the installation effect, do not forget the following matters when installing curtain rods.

1. Use different connection methods according to the situation
➤ If the wall is made of wood, just screw the installation track directly into the determined position of the wood;
➤ If the wall is made of cement, you need to use an electric drill to drill holes at the determined position, then knock in the special nylon expansion tube, and then insert the screws into the special nylon expansion tube and tighten it.
2. Precautions for curtain hook installation
➤ If the curtain is fixed by curtain hooks, different installation methods of the hooks can be used to form different curtain pleats. However, it should be noted that the distance between the curtain hooks should be calculated first to make it as uniform as possible;
➤ If you find rusty hooks, replace them immediately, otherwise the curtain fabric will be contaminated;
➤ In actual use, the number of pins inserted into the slot can be adjusted, generally 3~4;
➤ The number of strap slots between each two hooks can be adjusted, so that the effective width of the curtain can be adjusted.
3. Ensure firmness during installation
➤ To ensure the firmness of the curtain installation, pay attention to selecting a bracket that matches the rod during installation. If the bracket is too small, it may be easily damaged;
➤ On the other hand, a bracket that is too small will have a smaller contact surface with the wall, and the number of nuts or the size of the nuts will be limited, which will easily make the installed curtain rod unstable.
4. Ensure standardization and levelness
➤ The length of the curtain rod should be greater than the width of the window frame to avoid light leakage;
➤ The curtain rod should be installed horizontally, and a ruler should be used to monitor whether the curtain rod is installed flat if necessary.
5. Choosing the timing of installation
➤ It is best to install the curtain rod before the last cleaning of the new house. If it is installed too early, a thick layer of dust will fall on the curtain rod, and if it is installed too late, the cleaning will be in vain;
➤ At the same time, the Roman rod is best installed with the curtain, and the curtain rail can be installed in advance. It is best to consider what kind of rail to install when decorating.
